Glass hurts, and foot injuries take forever to heal and I thought you were getting hurt!

I don't want someone I care about to get hurt like that ever again!

I told you I'll try to stay safe! Stepping on glass is the opposite of that!

I'm a little more worried about you. Bill's dangerous and now you owe him.

[amadaman]

[Ken's gonna be glad later that Dipper smells like that soap he likes but right now he's just glad Dipper doesn't smell like blood. He can stay here all day.]

What sort of stuff is he capable of?

I've only ever met him in the dreamscape, so I'm not sure what he can do in the real world. But he messes with your head. Just... stay away from him, okay?

Yeah... I'll try. But if he's gonna be in my head, Kala-Nemi might be able to fight him off.

If your Persona gets hurt, do you get hurt?

[amadaman]

Um... Shadows usually attacked us, but one time Kaneda-san shot at Nemesis and I felt it? But while Nemesis is a part of me, I'm not a part of her. Even if she gets a lot of damage, as long as my mind itself is safe, she can always recover there, I think.

--You let Kaneda shoot at your head monster?!

Well I was trying to kill him so he had to.

[Ken pulls back and stares at him long and hard.]

... Is he going to hurt you?

[ursawhiner]

I don't know if he can possess me here. We don't know anything! That's what makes him so dangerous.

[amadaman]

Can demons be killed?

[ursawhiner]

I don't know. There's so much we just don't know.

[Dipper's starting to work himself up a bit.]

[amadaman]

[No Dipper nooooo. Ken's taking his hands now.]

... I'll protect you. I don't care what he is. I'll protect you.

[His palms are pretty sweaty. Sweatier than usual for some reason?]

It's not-- you can't. Don't put yourself in danger for me.

[At least neither of them are about to fall to their deaths because that would be unfortunate with sweat-slippery hands. Ken holds them anyway.]

I already accidentally made a deal with him. How worse can it get? I'm a fighter, Dipper. There's nothing else I can do. If I can't fight for the people most important to me, what's the point? I'm not going to just sit back and let him do what he wants to you.

You're important to me, too! And you're not just a fighter, you're my friend. So the best thing you can do right now for me is to stay safe. Which means staying away from Bill.
